Maths in the Autumn
We have used a range of manipulatives to complete a range of addition and subtraction questions. This has helped our understanding before we start to focus on the abstract form.
Maths – Prime and Square Numbers:
We spent our maths times investigating what prime and square numbers are. For this task, we used cubes, making sticks and squares.
Science in the autumn:
We have started to look at space this half term. To launch our topic, we did some artwork using a range of materials. We also held a space day, where we were able to dress in space related themes and watch a famous space related film.
